who is surrounded in static?

Composed of Chris Mills (Vocals), Kenny Vandermark (Drums), Joshua Christiano (Guitar), and Carlos Rodriguez (Guiar) Surrounded In Static is more than a band, it’s a force born out of friendship and a relentless need to create something heavy and real. It all started when Chris Mills (vocals) teamed up with Kenny Vandermark (drums) to carve out a sound that they have been longing to create. After many lineup changes the vision grew sharper when Chris brought on Joshua Christiano coming fresh off another project who was urging to get back into the scene and then Carols Rodriguez joining the second guitar spot completing the force that is Surrounded In Static.

For each member, this band is an outlet carved from raw emotion. Every track, show, and moshpit is a release. Their style fuses the nostalgia of early 2000s metalcore with the violentness of hardcore and ambience of deathcore.  The result is music that’s not just played, but unleashed.

On stage, Surrounded In Static thrives on energy. Their mission is to hit harder and leave a mark. Every show is built to  make sure no one forgets the night they just had. Energy is everything.

Rooted in the Northeast Pennsylvania the band draws strength from the place that raised them and the community that supports them. With every show and every track, Surrounded In Static is carving out their place in the scene and looking forward to what comes next.
